It is a yearly activity in our church to hold the Vacation Bible School program. And for this year, we had just this week. Though we were given only a short notice that we had to do it this week, we are still thankful to God for the successful activity.
Last Wednesday was the opening of the activity. For the whole staff, it was such a challenge because we were not that prepared with everything that we needed. And since it was held in an evacuation area for the flood victims, we needed transportation for the staff and for the materials as well. We were able to secure only 2 vehicles. The two other vehicles backed out a day before because one will be used for food distribution and the other one is still in a repair shop for its curt hitch repair. Good thing we had staff members who own motorbikes so we had a few to run errands for us.
The VBS went so well in spite and despite of the lack of preparation. The kids learned a lot and had fun at the same time. Looking forward for next year’s VBS!
